The unit does not 
respond (no power) 

AC cord is not plugged properly into a 

wall outlet or the connector is not 
plugged into the AC IN jack on the 
back of the unit. 

Wall outlet is not functioning.  

Plug the AC cord into a wall outlet and plug 
the connector into the AC IN jack on the 
unit. 

Plug another device into the same out 
outlet to confirm the outlet is working. 

iPod cannot not be 
docked properly. 

Using wrong iPod Adaptor. 

Make sure the dock insert is properly fit for 
your iPod. 
Make sure the dock insert is properly fit for 
your iPod 
Remove your iPod from the dock and 
check for obstruction on the connectors in 
the dock and on your iPod. Then reseat it in 
the dock. 

iPod does not respond 
to the system 

iPod is not installed properly. 

Your iPod is locked up. 

Remove your iPod from the dock and 
check for obstruction on the connectors in 
the dock and on your iPod. Then reseat it 
on the dock. 

Please make sure that your iPod is working 
properly before docking into the unit. 
Please refer to your iPod manual for info on 
resetting the iPod. 

iPod does not charge up 

iPod is not installed properly. 

iPod is locked up/ frozen. 

iPod battery has problem. 

Remove your iPod from the dock and 
check for obstruction on the connectors in 
the dock and on your iPod. Then reseat it in 
the dock. 

Please make sure your iPod is working 
properly before docking into the unit. 
Please refer to your iPod manual for details 
on resetting. 

AM band is too noisy. 

The reception at the set location is 
poor

Interference from the iPod 

Slightly rotate the AM loop antenna position 
for the best reception.           
Move the AM loop antenna away from the 
unit to avoid interference. 
Undock the iPod 

FM band is too noisy. 

The reception at the set location is

Make sure the FM Antenna is fully 
extended and tape it onto the wall if 
required, the higher the better
