AUXILIARY INPUT 

 
This unit provides an auxiliary audio signal input for connecting external 
audio devices such as an MP3 player or TV. Use an audio cable with 3.5 
mm stereo plug (not included) to connect the external device to the AUX 
IN Jack located on the back of the unit. 
1.) Connect the 3.5mm AUX IN stereo plug

 

to the line out jack or 

Headphone jack of your external audio device 

2.) Press the ON/STANDBY

 

button to turn on the unit. 

3.) To select auxiliary audio input, set the FUNCTION selector to iPod / 

AUX position. 

4.) Turn on the auxiliary device. 
5.) The volume and equalizer can now be controlled through the main 

unit. Operate all other functions on the auxiliary device as usual. 

NOTE: 

 

If your connected to the Line Out Jack of your external device, then 
you only need to adjust the volume control of this unit. If you 
connected the Headphone Jack of your external device then you 
may need to adjust both the volume control of your external device 
and the volume control of this unit to find the most desirable volume 
setting. 

 

Press the ON/STANDBY button turning off the unit when you finish 
listening. Don't forget to switch off the power of your external device 
as well. 

 

RESETTING 

If the unit does not respond or has erratic operation, you may have 
experienced a severe electric shock (ESD) or a power surge that 
triggered the internal computer to shut down automatically. If this occurs, 
follow below steps to reset: 
1.) Disconnect the main power. 
2.) Remove back-up battery and waiting for 30 seconds. 
3.) Reinstall the back up batteries and then connect the main power 

again. 

NOTE: 

Although disconnect the power will unlock the internal computer 

after a power surge, it will also erase all of the settings. After 
turning “ON” the unit, you will need to reset the settings again.
