1)
Remove endcap
s and slide t
he mounting sleeve of

of the chassis. If it is locked into position,
use the
removal
tools (supplie

) to disengage it.
2)
Check the dashboar
d
opening size by slid
ing th

ounting sleeve into it. If the open
ing is not
larg
e
enough, care
fully cut or
file as necessar
y
un
ti
l the slee
ve slides easily into
the opening. Do
no
t
force
th
e
s
leeve
into
the
opening
or
cause
it
to
bend
or
bow
.
Check
that
the
re
will
b
e
suf
ficient
sp
ace behind the
d
ashb
oard for
the ra
dio chassis.

sleeve

Once

Locate the series of bend t
abs
along
the top,
botto
m, and sides of the

ountin
g sleeve. With
th
e sleeve fully in
ser
ted into the dash opening, be
nd
tabs outwar

so that the sle

ve is fir

ly
secured
to the dashboar
d
.
5)
Car
e
fully slide the ra
dio into the
m
ountin
g sleeve
making sur
e
it is right side up
until it is fully
seated
and
the spring clip
s lock it into place.

rear of the
chassis using the
flang

nut pro

ided.
