3. The unit will switch to AUX mode automatically or tap the MODE BUTTON (#2) to select
AUX mode. The blue LED of the POWER INDICATOR (#10) will light and flash. A voice
“AUX LINE IN” is to confirm the unit switch to AUX mode.

tart playing the external device you plugged into the AUX IN JACK (#13).
5. Tap the + / - BUTTONS (#3/#5) to adjust the volume to obtain the desired volume level.
6. Tap the PLAY/PAUSE
BUTTON (#4) to mute the speaker. The blue LED if the
POWER
INDICATOR (#10) will light steadily. Tap The PLAY/PAUSE
BUTTON (#4)
again to turn
off the mute. The blue LED of the POWER INDICATOR (#10) will flash again.
Notes:
•
If you connect
the
unit to the Line-Out Jack on your external device, you only need to
adjust the volume control of your unit. If you connect to the Headphone Jack of your
external device, you may need to adjust both the volume controls of your external device
and
the unit
to obtain the desirable listening level.
•
Remember to turn off the unit when you have finished listening. Don't forget to switch off
the power of your external audio device as well.
USB OPERATION
The system is able to decode and playback all MP3 files which are stored in the memory
media via a USB connecting port.
USB PLAY / PAUSE
mode
1. Switch the ON/OFF SWITCH (#9) to on position to turn on the unit. The multi colors LED
accent lights in speaker will turn on and flash.
2. Insert a USB drive into the USB PORT (#12) or tap the MODE BUTTON (#2) to select
USB mode. A voice “USB” is to confirm the unit switch to USB mode. The blue LED of the
POWER INDICATOR (#10) flashes.
3. During USB play mode, press PLAY/PAUSE
BUTTON (#4) on the JEP-175 to play or
pause the USB drive. The blue LED of the POWER INDICATOR (#10) will light steadily.
4. Tap the + / - BUTTONS (#3/#5) to adjust the volume to obtain the desired volume level.
SKIP MODE
1. During PLAY mode, press and hold the + BUTTON (#3), the player will go to next track.
2. During PLAY mode, press and hold the - BUTTON (#5), the player will go to the previous
track.
Remarks
- The system will read all the individual tracks from the oldest one stored in the USB drive
up to the latest one. After finishing all individual tracks, it will go to play the folder based on
the time sequence which is the time of access.
- USB port does not support connection with a USB extension cable and is not designed to
communicate with computer directly.
- The system can detect and read the file under MP3 format only though the USB port.
- If connect the system to MP3 player via the USB PORT, due to variances in MP3
encoding format, some MP3 player may not be able to play via the USB PORT. This is not
a malfunction of the system.
