For  better  performance  and  longer  operating  time,  we  recommend  using  alkaline-type
batteries.
1.  Remove the BATTERY DOOR (#11) on the back of the unit.
2.  Following the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment, insert 2 ‘AAA' (UM-4)

batteries (not included). Replace the BATTERY DOOR (#11).

CAUTIONS

1.

Use only the size and type of battery specified.

2.  Do not mix old and new batteries.
3.  Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
4.  If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. Old or

leaking batteries can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.

5.  Do  not  try  to  recharge  batteries  not  intended  to  be  recharged;  they  can  overheat  and

rupture (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions).

6.  Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
7.  Replace all the batteries at the same time, no matter exhausted or not.
