Water supply meets local plumbing codes.
Water shutoff in base cabinet, as shown,
or accessible area.
Access hole through the cabinet is within 1/2"
(1.3 cm) of the rear wall.
Install any additional tubing only where
temperatures remain above freezing.
Check for leaks.
Not using a piercing-type or 3/16" (4.76 mm)
saddle valve. See refrigerator dealer for
saddle-type valve kit that complies with
local plumbing codes.
If water pressure to reverse osmosis system
is less than 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa):
• Check sediment filter to see if it is blocked.
Replace filter if necessary.
• Allow the storage tank to refill after
heavy usage.
• Remove the water filter cartridge.
No filter bypass is necessary.
