Category B:
This boat is designed for sailing in winds that do not exceed force 8 Beaufort and in waves of a
significant height inferior or equal to 4 m.
You may meet with such conditions when you sail on the open sea or close to the shore, when you are
not protected from the wind or waves over several hundreds of nautical miles.
You may also meet with these conditions on an inland sea with a size sufficient to generate the wave
height in question.
The significant height of a wave is the average height of the upper third of the waves, that approximately
corresponds to the height of a wave an experienced observer can assess. Some waves will be twice as
high as this value.
This boat is approved for the European Community by l’ICNN, an acknowledged body n°0607.
