Options
The SmartClass ADSL/Copper Tester has factory-configurable options as well
as options available for field upgrade. You can expand your testing capability
by purchasing optional software or accessories.
Configurations
The SmartClass ADSL/Copper Tester is factory configurable with or without
Copper or ADSL.
Table 3 describes the available configurations.
Software options
Table 4 lists the software options offered for the ADSL/Copper Tester. These
are only available on the SmartClass ADSL and ADSL/Copper Testers

ADSL2+ services.
SC-ADSL-ACU SmartClass ADSL2+, Annex A and Copper. Allows
you to test ADSL2+ services and Copper services.
SC-COPPER SmartClass Copper. Allows you to test Copper ser-
vices

Advanced IP option. Allows testing IP data services
such as VCC scan, IP Pool test, and Port test

Video option. Allows testing of the video transmission
stream at the packet level.
SCA-PTM PTM support. Allows packet transfer mode (PTM). Requires
software version 3.05.03.
