Description of DDS test commands

CT-650 Command-Line Reference Guide

Remarks

– This command is available only after executing a

DDS_Split

command.

– Not all

test_pattern_types

require a

test_pattern

param-

eter.

DDS_Split

Establishes an intrusive connection between the monitored TAP from
a 3/1 DCS and a DTU RTU.

Syntax

DDS_Split <

signal_flow

Remarks

– This command is available only after executing a

DI_Monitor

command.

– After executing the command, the unit sends the correct

Split

command to the 3/1 DCS to in affect establish an EF split on the
selected DS0 channel.

DI_Monitor

Starts a new monitor test on a DDS circuit.

Syntax

DI_Monitor <

> DS0A_subrate

Remarks

– For TAD testing, set the DTU default framing to match the DCS

TAD framing or frame sync.

– The

DS0A_subrate

parameter is required only if

channel_type

is DS0A.

– The

tap

parameter is required only for DCSs with TAD test ports.
