With the latch bracket loosely in place, you can loosely mount the latch to
it using the 1/4” X 1” hex head bolts and 1/4” washers. The latch should be
oriented so that the catch is towards the inside and the lever is on the top
towards the front of the door as shown below.

Next, install the handle and rubber bumper. To install the handle, insert
the 1/4”-20 X 3/8” button head through the top hole in the lever from
the inside. Then, tighten it into place using the threaded ball. To install the
rubber bumper, simply push it into the hole from the inside. You may need
to twist it to fully seat it in the bracket.
