iVIZION2
CAUTION: Generally, a USB Connector is designed to have Ground make contact first
when it is connected to a PC.
The USB line of the iVIZION2 is provided in a floating connector and the USB’s GND and
signal lines are connected at a same time. A circuit can get damaged due to electric
surge and such when GND of the PC and of the iVIZION2 Unit are not equal potential.
To avoid such damages, introduce one of the following instructions on a Host Machine
side:
•
In a cable, design a Host Machine’s floating connector to connect its Pin #5 or #23 to #26; or
•
On a PCB, design to connect PC’s Ground to iVIZION2’s POWER GND.
