Your Power Pack has 2 volt free contacts mounted on the control section (see
page 6). These will be activated if the site load exceeds 8kW or if the battery
capacity falls to 5%.
You should check that your generator is correctly sized. The JCB Power Pack
will draw up to 7kW of single phase power when recharging. Your generator
should be rate to supply this load without unduly loading a single phase.
A solar input is an optional feature on the JCB Power Pack. Please contact your
supplying dealer for confirmation of individual model specifications.
There may be a little bit of fan noise, but to all intents and purposes, the system
is silent in operation
Apart from periodic inspections the Power Pack is maintenance free. The only
checks that you will need to make is that the unit has charge.
