handle, use the right hand to hold the glass and
the left hand to hold the gas outlet tube. The ri-
ght hand can slightly shake the glass so that the
liquid inside can be completely heated, this way
the gas will come out more uniformly.
The product in gaseous state will begin to exit
through the exit tube and the finishing will begin.
Make sure that the released vapour is in contact
with the entire surface of the headlamp. Keep
the speed uniform and check that the area ex-
posed to steam will be immediately transparent
and smooth, in less than 5 minutes the surface
will be completely dry.
Remember: if it’s bright, you don’t need to re-
peat steps. If there are deep scratches, let the
steam act a little more in that area.
Once the restoration is finished, immediately
turn off the glass, wait two minutes, open the
lid and restore the remaining product in the pac-
kaging.
IMPORTANT:
Whenever the equipment is
not in use, it should be disconnected from the
power supply, as overheating can cause dama-
ge.
DO NOT KEEP THE EQUIPMENT CON-
NECTED FOR PERIODS OF TIME LONGER
THAN 5 MINUTES.

Drops of the liquid on the headlamp: causes
and solutions
The fluid used for restoration is highly volatile.
When it is getting warm, it goes into gaseous
state. The vapor piles up on the outlet tube’s
wall, when the vapor condensates, the wall with
the condensate liquid (similar to water) it may
trickle. Pay attention, do not let the gas tube up-
side down. As soon as you see condensed fluid
drops, straighten immediately the outlet tube.
If it trickles, proceed as follows:
•
Complete the fixing of the headlamp
• Collect the surplus product, and place it
back to the container.
•
Wait for five minutes, spot the leak and sand
up with a P600, P1000, P1500 and P2000.
After completing the sanding, clean up the
headlamp’s surface.
•
Repeat finishing process on the affected
spot.
Fumigation: must-know
This is how this restoration finish system is ca
-
lled. Is a chemical method made with volatile
products (vapor/gas).
Precautions
•
For a successful finish, do not forget the
sanding process. Do the finish touch when
the entire optical area is completely uniform.
•
Use a constant speed while applying the fi
-
nishing touch.
• Do not use it if it’s windy.
•
Do not forget, once the restore is finished,
to turn off the glass. Two minutes after it,
collect the surplus product and place it back
into the container.
Fumigation process has advantages such as
simplicity in use, re-use of the product, short-ti-
me process and excellent finish.
