9.7 - USING DUAL EXTENSION BARS

The VTX A12 Array Frame can be deployed with either one or two Extension Bars.  The Array Frame ships from the factory with
one Extension Bar. In cases where a VTX A12 array is to be suspended from side-by-side suspension points, a second VTX A12
Extension Bar can be used.

For support of side-by-side suspension points, first an additional VTX A12 Extension Bar must be purchased.  This standalone VTX-
A12-AF-EB includes one Extension Bar, the additional QRP’s, and an additional two pairs of tabs for mounting on the VTX A12 Array
Frame. Before using, the additional attachment tabs must be installed to the outer Extension Bar locations using the manufactur-
er-supplied bolts and locking nuts.

To attach side-by-side VTX A12 Extension Bars, follow all instructions from the previous section on single central Extension Bar
attachment, utilizing the additional left-side and right-side Array Frame attachment tabs for the Extension Bars.

CAUTION:

All quick release pins on a VTX A12 system must always be placed in an attachement location.

Do not suspend a VTX A12 system if pins are freely hanging.

TOOLS REQUIRED:

Attaching the extension bar connection tabs is a one-time operation. To properly install

the tabs, some tools are required. All neccessary hardware is included with the VTX A12 AF EB.
