SPECIAL NOTES:

Max spacing between poles should not exceed 20 ft.

The net may be broken up into sections to reduce weight and make handling
more manageable. Net sections typically do not exceed 150 ft.

Net sections should be joined together at a pole, not between poles.

Nets should be removed and stored after the season is over.

Remove and or lower and secure all netting if a major storm or extreme
winds, in excess of 50 mph, are forecasted.

Layout & Excavation:

Clear working area from obstructions. Determine the proper location for the poles on the
field. The spacing between poles is determined by the net overall length divided by the
number of spaces between poles (number of poles minus 1). Note that the maximum
spacing is 20 feet center to center, do not exceed this dimension. Spacing of poles is
consistent, unless an obstruction is unmovable.

Figure 1

Example 1: A net system that is 72 ft long will require 5 poles. The

spacing between poles will be 18 ft. (72 / (5-1) = 18)

Example 2: A net system that is 160 ft long will require 9 poles. The

spacing between poles will be 20 ft. (160 / (9-1) = 20)

Pole spaces = Number of poles - 1

End Pole

End Pole
