30-AMP SERVICE
On a 30-amp system, up to 5 circuits are permitted to distribute power through the travel
trailer. All breakers are sized according to power to be consumed.
WARNING:
Do not replace breakers or fuses with any that are rated at a
higher amperage. Over fusing may cause a fire by over heating the wire.
Below is a generic drawing with circuit breaker alignment. Your travel trailer may not be
exactly the same as shown depending on model, floor plan, and options.

20-amp circuit to air conditioning

15-amp microwave oven.

15-amp to general purpose circuits.

15-amp service for optional water heater or it may feed double
pole, double throw switch. This means the owner must choose
whether to use 120-volt water heater or washer-dryer option.
50-AMP SERVICE (OPTION)
A 50-amp service is available on some fifth wheel travel trailers as an option. Below is a
generic drawing with circuit breaker alignment. Your travel trailer may not be configured
exactly as shown depending on model, floor plan, and options.
A = 15-amp microwave oven
F = 15-amp washer and dryer
B = 20-amp air conditioning
G = 15-amp water heater
C = 15-amp refrigerator and utility
H = 20-amp/20-amp air conditioner
D = 15-amp GFI and kitchen circuits
