1.1 Plug & Play

Play audio from any device through USB or 3.5mm stereo mini-jack. The volume 
is loudest when plugged in via USB. 
 
1.2 Connect Wirelessly

laptop) 
Your Jawbone can wirelessly stream audio from any A2DP-enabled Bluetooth 
device within 150 feet. Just follow these steps: 
 
1.2a Prepare Your Jawbone

1.  Hold the ON/OFF SWITCH in the upmost position  
2.  Wait for the LED RING to flash red & white 
3.  You will hear “Jawbone is ready, waiting to connect” 
4.  Release the ON/OFF SWITCH to the middle/on position 

 
12.b Prepare Your Phone or Device 
Turn on Bluetooth®. 
 
On a iPhone, iPod or iPad: Go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > and enable 
BLUETOOTH 
On a Blackberry®: Go to SETTINGS/OPTIONS > BLUETOOTH and enable 
BLUETOOTH 
Other Cell Phones: Go to Jawbone.com/Pairing or review the instruction manual 
that came with your phone. 
 
1.2c Make the Connection 
Go to your phone or device’s Bluetooth® settings. 
 
Add or search for devices: When “Jawbone JBE” appears, select it. 
If asked for a passcode: Enter “0000” 
 
This is a one-time event per device. To pair your Jawbone JBE to another device, 
repeat steps 1.2a to 1.2c. 
 

2 GET LISTENING

2.1 Adjust the volume 
Same copy as ICON, but flip to this “…while listening to music or on a call,…”
