• Read carefully these instructions before
using the appliance for the first time and
keep it for future enquiries.
• Keep all plastic bags and packaging com-
ponents out of the reach of children. They
are potentially dangerous.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water nor
place it in wet surfaces.
• Do not maintain exposed to high tempe-
ratures.
• Place the scale on a horizontal rigid surface.
• Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not
use abrasive or chemical products.
• If you are going to use a container to weight,
first place it on the platform. Also you can
weigh the food directly on the platform.
• Press TARA and allow the display to set to
“0”. You can choose the weighing system in
grams “g”, “kg” or pounds:ounces “lb:oz”,
“ml” water, “ml” milk, by pressing “SET”.
• You may add items to those already weighed
without removing them by pressing TARA.
The display will show “0”.
• Place and remove the items with care.
• The appliance switches off automatically
a few seconds after weighing.
• You may switch off the appliance by pressing
for a few seconds.
BATTERY INSERTION
• The scale works with 1 lithium battery of
3 V. type CR2032 (included).
• Remove the protection label from the
battery for the scale to work. If necessary
open the lid of the battery compartment.
