• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse in water or any
other liquid.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic only. Do not
use for periods of time over 30 seconds. After this time allow
to cool for some minutes before using it again.
• Do not use the coffee grinder on empty.
• Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the
appliance out of the reach of children.
• Do not remove the lid until the blade is totally stopped and
the appliance has been switched off.
• Make sure neither the appliance nor the cable are in direct
contact with hot surfaces or objects.
• Always disconnect it from the mains when you do not use
it and before assembling / disassembling or when cleaning.
• Take all necessary precautions while handling the blade, as
it is very sharp.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an
Authorised Service Centre.
INSTRUCTION OF USE
• Before using the coffee grinder for the first time remove the lid (1) and clean the tank with a dry
cloth. To take out the lid turn it anti-clockwise and remove it.
• Pour the coffee beans into the tank (3).
Attention: Do not fill the grinder with coffee beans over the tank.
• Replace the lid. To do that, place the slot of the lid in the right side of the body indication and
turn it clockwise until the end to make coincide the slot of the lid with the body indication .
• Plug the appliance into the mains.
• Hold the lid with your hand and press the pusher (2) for some seconds according to the grind you
require. The time depends on the amount and type of coffee used.
• Do not remove the lid (1) until the blade has stopped turning totally.
• When you have finished, unplug the appliance from the mains, remove the lid and take out the
ground coffee.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
• It is important to remove all the residues of old coffee from the tank. This will avoid them spoiling
the flavour of the fresh beans when ground. To clean use a damp cloth, and carefully dry afterwards.
Be careful while cleaning because the blades are sharp and may cut.
• You may also clean the outer parts with a damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the
surfaces of the appliance.
• To store the coffee grinder, you can roll up the cord in the cord collector (5) placed in the base
of the appliance.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the
environment.
