INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE GRANDE SECONDE MINUTE REPEATER
The crown has two positions
Neutral position
Time-setting position
Starting the watch
Crown in position . This
position enables you to restart
the self-winding movement
manually by turning the crown
upwards ( ).
Important note: Do it before
each use (minimum 40 turns).
Setting the time
Pull the crown out to position .
Turn the crown upwards ( ) to
move the hands to the required
time.
For accurate time-setting, ensure
that the last adjustment of the
hands is made in a clockwise
direction.
After this operation, push the
crown back to position ; then
turn the crown downwards ( ) to
ensure it turns freely.
Minute Repeater Function:
Pull the lever (A) on the end
(upwards ) protruding from the
left side of the watch. Releasing
the button activates the repeater
mechanism. It chimes the time
down to the minute, using three
seperate tones for hours, quarter
hours and minutes.
Important note: Do not move
the hands whilst the minute
repeater is activated. The risk is
to break some elements of the
watch. Wait until the end of the
chime and the mecanism before
activating again the repeater
mechanism.
Kindly remember: This watch is
not water-resistant.
