The supporting plates and stops should be wiped off with a dry
cloth each time before clamping the profile to remove welding
beads and ensure that surfaces remain clean.
The welding bench must be cleaned at periodic intervals or when required
(to be determined by the operator).
Procedure when cleaning:
1. Switch off the welding bench correctly (see Chapter 5.1. "Switching off")
2. Disconnect the mains connection plug from the power supply.
3. Cleaning
4. Put back into operation after cleaning (see Chapter 3.3 "Starting up")
The socket must remain dry at all times!
The control cabinet must not be opened by the cleaning per-
sonnel.
Wipe off the complete surface of the welding bench with a hand
cloth to remove coarse dirt and welding beads.
Only use fibre-free cleaning cloths.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agent.
Use emulsion if need be.
Only wipe off supporting plates with dry cloths.
5.3 Determining defects
If damage is determined to the following when cleaning or during operation:
supporting plates
stops
lug support
clamp elements
spindles
guides
protective covers
digital display
control cabinet (main system switch, control lamp)
cable (injuries, crushing)
plugs
and other equipment,
then this damage must be reported immediately to the instructed person. Additional-
ly, a notice must be posted on the welding bench. The defects must be remedied be-
fore recommissioning.
