WARNING:
Turn the power switch off and unplug the machine before
cleaning.
NOTE:
Do not dismantle the machine in any way other than
what is explained in this section.
Cleaning the Hook Race and Feed Dogs

Remove the presser foot and needle. Remove screw
on the needle plate with the screwdriver.
Remove the needle plate and take out the bobbin.

Lift up the bobbin holder and remove it.

Brush out dust and lint. Wipe the bobbin holder with a
soft, dry cloth.

Clean the feed dogs and hook race with the lint
brush.

Wipe the hook race with a soft, dry cloth.

NOTE:
You may also use a vacuum cleaner.

Clean the outside of the machine with a soft cloth and
mild soap.
Store the machine in cool and dry place.
Do not store the machine in an area of high humidity,
near a radiator or in direct sunlight.
