Threading the machine
z
Raise the presser foot lifter.
x
Turn the power switch on. Press the up/down needle
position button twice to raise the needle. The threading
light will light up.

NOTE:
If you want to use the handwheel to raise the needle,
make sure the threading light is on when threading.
Otherwise the machine will not be threaded properly.

Draw the thread around the upper thread guide (A)

and the upper thread guide (B)

Draw the thread down along the right channel. Then
down around the bottom of the guide plate

Firmly draw the thread up along the center channel to
the thread guide

.While holding it with your right hand
behind the upper thread guide (A), firmly draw the
thread from right to left over the thread guide

down into the chicane

Slide the thread behind the needle bar thread guide

on the left. Thread the needle from front to back or use
the needle threader.
