XM66

a
battery
door
removal
detection
switch
.
This
is
designed
to
protect
against
data
loss
if
the
battery
is
removed
during
data
collection
or
processing.
The
system
will
not
fully
operate
when
the
battery
cover
is
removed.
As
a
result
of
this
feature,
XM66
devices
automatically
create
a
safe
state
until
the
battery
cover
is
secured,
meaning
a
device
will
power
‐
down
until
the
battery
door
is
closed.
It
will
recall
and
resume
from
the
user’s
most
recent
screen
when
the
battery
door
is
fully
in
place.

Wake Up
Choose a method to wake up device after suspend.
External Power
Su5VDC from communications port for external peripherals.
If you peripheral accessory does not function properly, set the value to
“Always On”.
Keypad Light
Set backlight to ON or OFF.
Keypad Type
Choose setting to match device’s keypad type. Factory default is
“Numeric”.
Note: XM66 Panel settings will revert to default settings after a cold
boot. Please refer to XM Series SDK for more information on how to
make settings persistent.

holding

F2
key,
press
the
power
button
until
the
display
goes
dark.
Release
the
power
button
then
release
the
F2
button.

PDA
keypad
setting

be
selected

XM66
Panel
(see
below)
or
a
registry
key
must
be
used
to
enable.
