Congratulations on your choice of the

Jamo E 8 series.

The idea behind the Jamo E 8 series,

was  to  make  a  complete  series  of

naturally  sounding  speakers  for  hifi

and surround sound.

You will no doubt be anxious to listen

to your new loudspeakers.

We do, however, recommend that, to

benefit fully from your investment, you

adhere meticulously to the instructions

for  connection  and  placing  in  this

user’s guide.

The slimline cabinets all feature heavy

and resonance dead 19 mm MDF board

front baffles giving optimum working

conditions for the drivers.

On the floorstanders the cabinets are

made of 22 mm particle board and on

the small speakers of 19 mm particle

board.

The treble is reproduced by a 1"/25 mm

carefully coated textile dome tweeter.

The  tweeter  features  magnetic

ferrofluid and a voice coil wound of

thermosetting wire on an aluminium

voice coil former, for high power hand-

ling.

This driver is a completely new unit -

specially designed by Jamo.

The most conspicious about it is the

very  wide  surround  that  covers  the

entire basket, the centerplug and the

mineral fibre reinforced pressed cellu-

lose diaphragm.

When using a centerplug, a dust cap is

no longer needed.

By  removing  the  dust  cap,  radial

diaphragm break ups around the dust

cap mounting point are eliminated and

so  is  under-/overpressure,  created

from the diaphragm excursions, behind

the dust cap.
