Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in fire and/or serious injury.
1. This grill is specifically designed for outdoor use only. Indoor use will allow toxic fumes to accumulate
which can cause serious bodily harm or death. Never use this grill indoors, even if ventilation is provided.
2. When using lighter fluid beware of any fluid that may have drained through the bottom vents. Never add
lighter fluid to existing hot or warm coals.
3. Never use gasoline, or kerosene or other highly volatile fluids as a starter. They can explode.
4. Keep children and pets well away from the grill area.
5. Do not use grill within five feet of any combustible materials. Combustible materials include, but are not
limited to wood or treated wood decks, patios and porches.
6. Do not use grill unless all parts are in place.
7. Allow coals to burn out completely and let the ashes cool for at least 48 hours before disposing of them.
8. Do not wear loose clothing while lighting or using the grill.
9. Do not use grill in high winds.
10. Make sure that the grill is level and steady prior to use.
11. Do not cook before the charcoal has a coating of ash.
12. Warning: Do not move the appliance when in use. Allow it to cool completely before moving or storing.
Operating your grill
1. Remove the lid before building the fire. Make sure air vent at bottom is closed. Note: For proper
airflow, remove accumulated ashes from the bottom of the grill if present (only after the coals are fully
extinguished). Charcoal requires oxygen to burn, so be sure nothing clogs the vents.
2. When using charcoal briquettes or wood chunks form a pyramid and douse the briquettes/chunks with
lighter fluid. Recommended maximum amount of charcoal briquets: 30 pieces. Wait until the fluid has
soaked in before lighting. Lighter fluid should be capped immediately after use and placed a safe distance
from the grill. Use only briquettes complying to EN 1860/2
3. Once coals are covered with a light grey ash (usually 25 to 30 minutes), spread the coals with long-
handled tongs.
4. When removing the grill lid during cooking, lift to the side, rather than straight up. Lifting straight up may
create suction, drawing ashes up onto your food.

De barbecue moet eerst op temperatuur komen waarbij het houtskool al minstens 30 minuten rood gloeit
voordat de barbecue gebruikt mag worden.

Het niet volgen van onderstaande instructies kan leiden tot brand en/of ernstig letsel.
1. Deze grill is speciaal gemaakt voor buitengebruik. Binnen kunnen giftige dampen zich ophopen en tot
ernstige schade aan de gezondheid of zelfs tot de dood leiden. Gebruik deze grill nooit binnen, ook als is
de ruimte goed geventileerd.
2. Let bij het gebruik van aansteekvloeistof op vloeistof dat eventueel door de ventilatieopeningen aan de
onderkant is gestroomd. Voeg aansteekvloeistof nooit toe aan brandend, gloeiend of smeulend houtskool.
3. Gebruik voor het aansteken nooit benzine, kerosine of andere zeer brandbare vloeistoffen. Ze kunnen
exploderen.
4. Houd kinderen en dieren uit de buurt van de grill.
5. Gebruik de grill niet op minder dan 1,5 meter afstand tot brandbare materialen. Brandbare materialen
zijn onder andere houten of behandelde houten terrassen, patio's en veranda's.
6. Gebruik de grill niet als niet alle onderdelen op hun plaats zitten.
7. Laat steenkool volledige opbranden en laat de as nog minstens 48 uur met rust voordat u deze weggooit.
