Using for the first time
– Prior to using for the first time, the grill must be
heated for at least 2 hours for the coating to be
baked on and for any production residue to burn
off.
– In doing so, the temperature for baking may not
exceed 140°C.
– Then the grill must be allowed to cool down com-
pletely.
– After cooling, treat the grill with a heat-proof oil
and bake again for an hour at a temperature of
approximately 140°C.
Operation
1. Arrange the charcoal pieces in the fire basin in
pyramid form.
2. Evenly space dry charcoal lighters around the
pyramid.
3. The pyramid is best lit using a match.
4. Only start to cook when the fuel is covered with a
sheet of ash.
5. Grease the grilling rack with a little vegetable oil
and start grilling.
Disposal
This appliance must not be disposed of with regular
household waste! Dispose of the appliance in the
appropriate manner. For more information, consult
your community waste disposal service.
The packaging consists of cardboard and
correspondingly marked plastics that can
be recycled.
– Make these materials available for recycling.

Always wear gloves
when adjusting the height of the grilling rack
as the handles of the rack can become very
hot during grilling.
Note:
The fire basin can accommodate a
maximum of around 4 kg (1,8 kg) of ordinary
charcoal.

The grill temperature may
never exceed 260°C.
