Building the Model
17. Glue the wing tip parts together and glue the completed
assemblies to the wing.
18. Glue a piece of scrap balsa to the rib where the inter-plane
struts are attached to allow the covering foil to be later ironed
on.
19. Build the upper aileron from 2 X 6 mm balsa and sand to
shape.
21. Lower wing joiner components.
20. Sheet the front third of the wing and sand the sheeting and
sand the leading edge joint smooth.
22. Lower wing joiner components glued together.
