Tool change
CAUTION: Danger of being drawn in by rotating shaft.
If the shaft is still rotating, fingers and hands may be drawn in and crushed.

Only change the tool if the shaft is at a standstill.

Note: Ensure functionality.

Never operate the HF spindle without a clamped tool.
If no tool is clamped:

The clamping system is damaged by the centrifugal forces.
q
The clamping system is shifted.
q
The balance of the HF spindle is affected.
q
The bearing is damaged.

The HF spindle clamping system is designed for counter-clockwise rotation.

Only use tools with the correct direction of rotation for the HF spindle.
Ü
Only use tool mounts with the correct HF spindle direction of rotation.
Ü
Set the direction of rotation of the HF spindle on the FC in accordance with
the arrow display on the HF spindle.

Changing the disc tool
The tool mount is only designed for disc tools (cutting discs, saw blades, etc.).

Proceed as follows to change the tool:

Remove the support plate of the HF spindle shaft.
Ä
Push the fork wrench onto the flat face of the support plate.
Ä
Insert hexagon socket wrench into the shaft as a counterholder.
Ü
Unscrew the support plate in the direction of the arrow.
Caution: left-hand thread.
Ü
Now remove the tool from the shaft.
