6.3 Calibrating a module
Initializing the hardware
At first define the voltage range by setting the jumpers when the system is
switched off.
Calibration has to be made when the system reaches its operating tempera-
ture. 30 minutes after power-up of the system, the operating temperature is
reached, provided the system has a (room) temperature of approx. 20…25°C
before power-up.
Depending on the module you calibrate with one of the following methods:

6.3.1 Calibration per Software

Call the program
ADpro.exe
from the Windows start menu under "
Pro-
grams\ADwin
".
If your
ADwin
system has booted successfully, the window "
ADwin
-
ADpro
"
opens.
Notes for operating several
ADwin
systems at one PC: ADpro saves the val-
ues, indicated in the window "
ADwin
ADpro
Settings
" after each successful
booting. If you change the system you can adapt the settings under
"
ADwin-ADpro\File\Option
" in the window "
Connection
".
Select the "
TST
" button in the "
ADwin-ADpro
" window for the module to be
calibrated, then select the "
Calibrate
" button in the "
Dialog
" window.
The window "
ADwin-ADpro
Settings
" to the left
opens only,
– if your
ADwin
system did not boot successfully.
– if the settings in this window are not correct.
Check and, if necessary, correct the settings in this
window. Boot your system again with the "
Boot
" but-
ton.
