SETTING THE TIME
The Duomètre Quantième Lunaire watch
fea-tures a unique resetting mechanism
for the seconds and jumping seconds
hands, called the “jumping stop-seconds”.
This enables the two hands to be reset by
the crown and for the time to be set on
the watch once an hour signal sounds to a
precision of 1/6th of a second.
Pull crown out to position 1. The jumping
seconds hand returns to zero and stops
in preparation for the time-setting opera-
tion. Note that the escapement continues
to function, thanks to its dedicated power
reserve. Its isochronism is undisturbed.
