Setting the reference time
Crown in position 3
- The movement is then locked (“stop seconds” function). To enable time setting
accurate to one second, stop the time function seconds hand (gold or rhodium
plated-hand) at 60.
- Move the hands forward clockwise to the desired time and, on the hour signal,
push the crown back to position 1. The watch starts running again.
Setting the second time zone as the reference time
Crown in position 2
- Rotating the crown moves the minute hand of the second time zone
forward by intervals of 1 minute at a time. To move through the hours more
rapidly, it is possible to move the minute hand back and forth above the hours
disk, which causes the disk to move forward by one hour.
- Align the time of the second time zone with the reference time.
- Make sure to respect the day/night indication on the globe.
The destination time is now ready for setting.
