Once you have inserted the password, the display will show
the message
I1x
(where “x” may be 1 or 0; the memorized val-
ue is 0).
Use the keys
“Up”
and/or
“Down”
to change “x”
from
0
a

(corresponding to the scale in °F). Confirm the se-
lection with the
“Light”
key. The display will show the mes-
sage
I2x
. Press the
“Light”
key again to go to parameter
I3 0
,
which must never be modified
.
Press the
“Light”
key one more time to exit the procedure
and memorize the new values. The display will go off for a mo-
ment, and then it will come on again.
To go back to the Celsius scale (°C), return to the procedure and
set figure “x” of the parameter
I1x
to 0.
NOTE:
If no key is pressed for 20 seconds, you will exit the
procedure and any changes made will not be saved.
Water heating temperature ("set point").
To check or modify the water heating temperature, do the following:
Press the
“Up”
or
“Down”
key. The display will show
the current memorized temperature
(in °C or °F
as pro-
grammed, see "Temperature unit of measure)
and the respec-
tive symbol appears.
Press the
“Up”
or
“Down”
key again to change the
displayed value from a minimum of 15 °C to a maximum of 40
°C (59÷104 °F).
To show the temperature of the water in the tub again, do not
touch any key for about 5 seconds.
Operation of the heater is shown on the display by a symbol
displayed steady.
If it is flashing, it means that heating has
been suspended to keep from exceeding the maximum per-
mitted consumption. See also the previous note.
As soon as the water temperature set point is reached, the
heater is shut off. It will not be turned back on until the water
temperature drops about 0.5 °C - 1 °F below the set point.
To ensure precise measurement of the water temperature,
the filtering pump comes on every half hour (even if no filtering
cycles are set), since the temperature probe is located in the
heater pipe.
NOTE:
when the system is turned off, or there is a power out-
age, the last set point is stored in memory.
Maintenance of minimum temperature of water in tub and
anti-freeze protection of the pipes (“Smart Winter”).
At least every half hour, the system reads the actual tempera-
ture. If it is below the minimum admissible value (15 °C - 59 °F),
the heater and the filtering pump are automatically activated until
the temperature rises above that value.
“Smart Winter” lets you make use of a special probe to moni-
tor the temperature of the compartment under the tub, which con-
tains the all of the pipes of the plumbing circuit. In extreme con-
ditions, the system may turn on this anti-freeze protection (indi-
cated on the display by the message
ICE
). The pumps will be
turned on according to the following configurations:
• With limitation of electrical consumption
The blower is turned on in conjunction with one of the two hy-
dromassage pumps. After one minute, the pump is turned off and
the other one is turned on, also for one minute. After that, the
pumps and blowers are turned off.
During this cycle, the heater
is turned off but it can be turned back on if necessary.
• Without limitation of electrical consumption
The operating mode remains the same, except for the heater,
which remains operative
.
The pumps and the blower are turned on at preset intervals,
depending on the temperature:
- temperature between 12 and 15 ° C (54-59 °F):
every hour
- temperature between 9 and 12 ° C (48-54 °F):
every 30 minutes
- temperature between 6 and 9 ° C (42-48 °F):
every 15 minutes
- temperatures at or below 6 ° C (42 °F):
continuous
NOTES
- If the temperature of the compartment drops rapidly, the fre-
quency of activation increases.
- If it becomes necessary to turn on the anti-freeze protection
during the filtering or rapid filtering (“Instant Clear”) cycles,
those cycles will be suspended and they will resume when the
anti-freeze cycle is complete.
- If this protection is active, the spotlight may still be turned on.
"Energy savings" mode
When this function is set, the electric heater is not turned on until the
water temperature drops at least 10 °C (18 °F) below the set point.
Press the
“Econo”
key. The display shows the message
Edx
, where “x” indicates the duration in hours.
Use the
“Up”
and/or
“Down”
keys to enter the de-
sired duration,
from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 24, which
means the function is always on.
Press the
“Econo”
key
again
to confirm the selected val-
ue. You will then go to the start time (
Es

First set the hour and confirm with the
“Econo”
key. Then set
the minutes, and press the
“Econo”
key again to memorize the
set values and exit programming.
When the function is on, the display will shown the respective
symbol.
