No. The GN 7100 is an analog telephone designed specifically for use with a
headset, instead of a handset. It offers sound-level protection by limiting the
receive decibel level of incoming calls. Noise-canceling of the ambient room
noise is accomplished through the headset.
5) How do I answer calls using the GN 7100?
When you receive an incoming call, simply put on your headset and press the
On/Off button on the GN 7100. The on-line indicator lights, indicating you are
on a call. Pressing the On/Off button again will end the call. The on-line
indicator goes out and the display returns to the current time of day.
6) How do I place a call using the GN 7100?
To place a call, put on your headset and press the On/Off button on the GN
7100. The on-line indicator lights and you will hear a dial tone. Dial the phone
number. The display shows the number dialed and then changes to show the
elapsed time of your current call. Pressing the On/Off button again will end the
call. The on-line indicator goes out and the display returns to the current time of
day.
