Regardless of the version of your Windows, click the
Bluetooth Tray
icon in the Windows system
tray and then follow the on-screen instructions. The instructions vary, depending on the security
configuration of the system. If the security notification is ignored after a preset timeout, the
connection request will fail.
In the
Security Request dialog box
, you will see the following:
Device Name:
displays the user-friendly name of the device that is attempting to
connect.
Request to access:
displays the service that the remote device is trying to access.
OK:
grants permission to establish connection.
Cancel:
connection is denied.
Advanced
:
please see next section for details.
A
checkbox
that, when enabled, grants or authorizes the connecting device access
to all of the available services.
