Adjusting Geometry
A J.Sikora Protractor is provided for
you. If you use this Protractor to set
the fine geometry for your cartridge,
the stylus should be in both null points
on the protractor (66mm, 120.9mm).
However, if you already have a more
sophisticated alignment tool, we
encourage you to use it.

Adjusting Azimuth
An important part of properly setting
up a tonearm is making sure the
Azimuth is correct. Azimuth refers to
the horizontal balance of the cartridge
when viewed from the front.
Your
KV12
or
KV12-VTA
Tonearm has
an Azimuth Weight that you can use to
make any necessary adjustments.
For minor Azimuth adjustments, use
the supplied Wrench and turn the
Internal Set Screw.
For large adjustments, slightly loosen
the Set Screw at the top of the Azimuth
Weight. Once the Screw is loose, rotate
the Azimuth Weight in the appropriate
direction until you achieve the correct
Azimuth. Once correct, tighten the Set
Screw again.
