STARTING

A technician should do the first lighting

Before proceeding to the first lighting, make sure that all parts are in place (figure 1),

that  the  connection  to  the  chimney  is  secure  and  that  all  oil  supply  conduct  joints  are
tight.

1.

Push down the ON/OFF switch to ON.

2.

Turn the control button to 1.

3.

Open the oil supply.

4.

Wait until the oil gets to the burner, then light it using a long match and close the

door.

5.

Wait at least 15 minutes to change the oil flow. To be done by a technician.

6.

Adjust  draught  regulator  with  counterweight.  When  the  appliance  gets  to  its

maximum  "6",  that  the  chimney  is  hot  and  outside  temperature  is  calm,  the
draught  regulator  must  be  closed  up  to  the  opening  limit.  To  be  done  by  a
technician.

To  turn  off  the  appliance,  put  back  the  control  button  to  the  position  "0".  If  the

appliance  is  not  in  service  for  a  long  period,  it  is  strongly  recommended  to  place  the
carburetor in position OFF and to close the arrival of oil.

NOTES:

Before every lighting, make sure there is no oil excess at the bottom of the burner.

If there is an excess of oil, it must be sponge up before lighting to avoid stove damages.

NEVER TRY TO LIGHT UP THE APPLIANCE WHILE HOT.

During the first hours of utilisation of your oil stove, it is normal to perceive a light

burnt paint odor. Although it is temporary, it is preferable to air well.
