• Regularly check the plug and lead of the appliance for wear and damage.
• If the supply cord is damaged do not use the appliance, and contact an
authorized BENRUBI service centre.
• Never try to repair the appliance on your own and contact an authorised
Benrubi Service Centre.
• Avoid touching the hot surfaces of the kettle. Use the handle.
• To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is correctly shut before use.
• To avoid possible steam damage, turn the spout away from walls or
cabinets when operating the kettle.
• Switch off and unplug from the outlet before filling, emptying or cleaning the
kettle, or when not in use.
• The water level must be between “MAX” and “MIN”.
• Avoid contact with hot steam from the spout.
• Do not overfill the kettle exceeding “MAX” as boiling water may be ejected
(Please refer to the maximum quantity indicated in the external surface of the
kettle).
CAUTION
: Make sure that the appliance is switched off before you remove
the kettle from the base.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle containing hot water.
Never lift the kettle by its lid. Always use the body handle.
• Do not switch the kettle on if it is empty.
• Use the kettle only with the supplied base unit. Do not use the base unit for
other purposes.
• To protect against fire, do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
• A kettle should not be left connected to a wall socket when the room
temperature is likely to fall to outdoor winter temperatures. At subzero
temperatures the automatic control thermostat may reset to boil and energize
the element.
• Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than heating water. Other liquids
of food will contaminate the interior.
• Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
• Switch, base, and cable must not come into contact with water. If this
happens accidentally, ensure that all parts are completely dry before the
kettle is used again.
• Do not leave the power switch in the “ON” position.
• This appliance is intended only for household use.
• Use only original spare parts specially designed for this appliance and as
recommended by the manufacturer.
• THE APPLIANCE IS GUARANTEED FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS
FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. DO NOT REPAIR THE DEVICE
YOURSELF, BUT TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST AUTHORIZED BENRUBI
SERVICE STATION. INCORRECT USE OF THE APPLIANCE CANCELS
THE GUARANTEE.
