- Disconnect the power cord from the supply mains.

Never use an extension power cord set that has not been approved
by a competent authority. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary,
a 16-ampere cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may
overheat. The cord should be arranged in a way that it cannot be
pulled or tripped over.
•
Make sure to keep the sole plate of the iron very smooth. Do not run
it over metal objects (such as against the ironing board, buttons, zips
etc.)

Never iron or dampen cloths while wearing them.
•
Store the unit out of the reach of children.
•
Do not use outdoors or in the bathroom. Do not leave the appliance
exposed to weather conditions (rain, sun etc).

Do not use chemical additives, scented substances or decalcifies.
•
It is advisable to use distilled water in the appliance. Deposit or
mineral in the water will lead to generate the scales and block the
steam holes.
•
