: The unit becomes hot during operation.
• Check that the voltage rating of your appliance does in fact match
that of your household electrical wiring system. Any connection error
will render the guarantee null and void.
• Your appliance is intended solely for domestic use, for hair care and
within home.
• Unplug your appliance as soon as you have finished using it or
before cleaning it.
• Do not use your appliance if it is not working correctly or if it has been
damaged. If this happens you should contact an approved BENRUBI
service centre.
• Any intervention other than cleaning and normal maintenance by the
customer must be carried out by an approved BENRUBI service
centre.
• If the power cable or the plug are damaged, do not use your
appliance. To avoid any risk, you should contact an approved
BENRUBI service centre.
• For your own safety use only IZZY accessories and spare parts
which are suitable for your appliance.
• It is not recommended to use the appliance in the bathroom or
anywhere that the appliance could get wet.
• If, however, the appliance is used in the bathroom: In order to provide
additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual current circuit
breaker (RCD) with a rating not exceeding 30mA in the electric circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
• When the straightener is used in the bathroom, unplug it immediately
after use, as the proximity of water may pose a hazard, even when the
appliance is turned off.
• Hair lacquers and fixing sprays contain flammable material. Do not
spray while using the appliance.
• Do not direct hot air from the appliance towards the eyes or other
areas sensitive to heat, such as face and neck. We recommend
wrapping a towel round the neck.
• Do not submerge the appliance, the power cable or the plug in water
or any other liquid.
• Do not use the hair straightener with wet hands. Do not use the hair
straightener near water contained in bathtubs, basins or other vessels.
Do not leave or store the straightener near a tub, sink or other place
where it will be exposed to water and other liquids or high humidity.
• If, however, the appliance should fall into water, pull the power plug
out of the power socket immediately! Never place your hand in the
