Multi-User Support
The configuration below supports multiple users running the Ixia application from the High-Per-
formance Ixia Application Server:
l
Each login user needs to have “Administrator” and “Remote Desktop Users” privilege to run the
Ixia application.
l
Set the server to restrict each user to single session.
l
Only one copy of the Ixia application needs to be installed by a user with an Administrator priv-
ilege. Installation should be done via VNC, not Remote Desktop.
l
Each user will be able to execute an Ixia application by running a remote desktop session on the
Ixia Application Server.
l
Each user will be able to control and configure his/her own instance of the Ixia application they
are using. Each instance can be modified only by the logged-in user.
