INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Dear customer, 
Thank you for your purchase of this product.  

Please carefully read these Instructions for Use before placing the device in service. 

 

 

ATTENTION!! Important Safety Information! 

This work lamp has 230 VAC at the output and must never be used by children! Caution: danger to life! 

The work lamp must only be operated in protected outdoor areas and in dry and enclosed rooms. 

The work lamp must be protected by a 16 A fuse in the sub-distribution board/junction box provided by the customer. 
A circuit-breaker/protective switch (FI) must be installed upstream.  

Do not leave the wrapping materials lying around; plastic foils and plastic bags could become toys that are 
dangerous to children.  

In business facilities, the accident prevention regulations of the society of the commercial employers’ liability 
insurance associations for electrical systems and equipment must be observed.  

For safety and technical approval reasons (CE), the unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the work lamp is 
not permitted.  

The work lamp must not be exposed to extremely strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stresses.   

The work lamp may only be operated with a 230 V / 50 Hz AC power source. Never try to operate the device on any 
other voltage! 

If it can be assumed that a safe operation is no longer possible, then the device must be switched off immediately 
and preventive measures against an unintentional operation must be taken. A safe operation can no longer be 
assumed if the device no longer works properly, shows visible signs of damage, in the event of transportation 
damage, after the device has been stored under adverse conditions. 

Service and repairs - Service and repair work may only be performed by authorized specialists who are thoroughly 
familiar with the attendant hazards and the pertinent regulations. 

 

 
 
Intended Use 

The work lamp is designed to illuminate areas where there is no sufficient daylight. It can be used for work, leisure and 
hobby purposes. The 38W illuminant has the luminance of a halogen light of approximately 300 W. It can be used in 
protected outdoor areas and in enclosed rooms.  
Any other use may damage this product; in addition, improper use may result in serious hazards, such as short-circuiting, 
fire, electrical shock etc. 
 

 
Operation 

 

Unwind the cable completely prior to operating the work lamp.  

 

Do not put the work lamp on the lens side or place it on a wet/humid surface.  

 

Insert the plug into a 230 V grounded socket before switching on the lamp. Then use the switch to turn on the work 
lamp. 

 

The switch is located on the rear of the work lamp. Turn off the work lamp before unplugging it from the mains 
network. 

 

The desired tilt angle of the work lamp can be selected by adjusting the handle located on the rear.  

 

Do not immerse the work lamp in water and avoid splashing any liquids on it.  

 
 
 

Replacing the illuminant / starter 

Illuminants become hot. Defective illuminants should only be replaced when the device is disconnected from all voltage 
sources and after the illuminant has cooled down appropriately. Never use an illuminant with a higher rating than 
indicated.  
 
1.  Remove the protective rubber ring (1) and the cover (4).  
2.  Carefully remove the illuminant (2) and replace it with a new one.  
3.  Turn the starter (2) slightly to the left. It releases from its holder and you can now replace it with a new one. Then 

turn the starter to the right until it engages and has a tight fit.  

4.  Put the lens/cover (4) in place again and attach the protective rubber ring (1). During assembly, be sure to check 

that the protective rubber ring has a good and tight fit in order to prevent any water from entering.  

5.  Your work lamp is ready for use again.
