3.3.2 Networking via USB Client Port

The NP-600S can use the USB client to USB host cable connect the USB client port

of the NP-600S and the USB host port of the host computer as following:

Step

Make sure the Microsoft
ActiveSync service is properly
installed on the host PC.

Microsoft

ActiveSync

Power ON the NP-600S.
Before the Windows CE boot up,
don’t connect the USB cable.

Connect the USB client port of the
NP-600S and the USB host port of
the host PC by the USB client to
USB host cable.

When the “Add New Hardware
Wizard” asks for the driver, click
Browse and select the file named

wceusbsh.inf

under the USB driver

directory.

Follow the onscreen instructions to
establish a partnership and
synchronize your NP-600S with
your desktop computer.

Now you can synchronize the
information between the NP-600S
and host computer with
ActiveSync.
