This Technical Bulletin addresses a conflict between the GoBook VR-1 Fingerprint scanner and Mobility XE and offers a possible
workaround for the conflict.

Using the Protector Suite software to log a user (with an enrolled fingerprint) into the system will cause MobilityXE to fail to
connect.

At this time there is no solution to this problem.  There are two possible workarounds to this problem.
1.

If the user locks the screen and and unlocks with an enrolled fingerprint, re-connects with the WWAN and enables NetMotion,
the connection will be successful.

2.

If the user uses the initial logon windows screen and types in the password (not using their enrolled fingerprint), the NetMotion
login will be successful.
