Term
Description
IB-P03 (IB)
A slave device for Profinet made by ITOH DENKI, and the device is to input and
output data such as for motor drive or sensor input.
iCEP
ITOH DENKI’s PC application for creating a ladder program and setting
parameters.
iCEP stands for itoh Configurator for Ethernet/IP and Profinet.
Ladder logic
A program (ladder logic) to define the operation of each motor of IBs.
Program can be created by ITOH DENKI’s PC application, “iCEP”.
Slave
A device that operates under instructions from the master device
Master
A device that issues instructions to the slave devices
JOG operation
Forcible operation in motor. Set with iCEP.
The operation of ladder logic stops during JOG operation.
Direction
Indicates the rotation direction of a motor.
Zone
Indicates the transfer zone managed by a motor.
Upstream
Indicates the upstream zone (carry-in zone).
Downstream
Indicates the downstream zone (carry-out zone).
Tray
Indicates a product to be transferred on the conveyor.
JAM timer
A timer that starts when the sensor of its own zone becomes ON and stops when
the sensor becomes OFF in a ZPA transfer (It detects transfer congestion in the
zone.)
JAM error
An error that occurs when the JAM timer counts up in response to the passage
of the set time.
Sensor timer
A timer that starts when the upstream sensor changes from ON to OFF and
stops when the sensor of its own zone changes from OFF to ON in a ZPA
transfer (It detects a loss of tray.)
Sensor timer error
An error that occurs at the moment the sensor timer counts up.
RUN hold timer
A timer that specifies the period of time for turning the motor continuously in its
own zone after the sensor of its own zone becomes OFF in a ZPA transfer
Sensor-ON delay timer
A timer to set the period of time for stopping delay after a tray reaches to own
zone (own sensor) in ZPA transfer.
LD Recorder
ITOH DENKI’s PC application to analyze a ladder program
Up to two ladder program logs can be recorded simultaneously.
MDR
Motorized roller
