2.2 Manual testing
The IT-E255M quick charger controller is manual version. During test, the user
needs to manually conduct test. The IT-E255A also supports manual test. Tak-
ing IT-E255A model as an example, the operation method is described below.
Different devices under test support different charging protocols. This series of
quick charger controller provides 6 types of protocols including QC2.0, QC3.0,
PE+, PE+2.0, USB PD2.0 and USB PD3.0/USB PPS. Please select corre-
sponding mode for test based on the protocol supported by actual DUT. The op-
eration methods below are described in detail taking QC2.0, PE+ 2.0 and USB
PD3.0/USB PPS as an example. The operation methods of other protocols are
similar.
The voltage range reference and adjustment method of different protocol modes
are as shown below:
