Braking
Braking is controlled by the brake band levers located on either side of the handlebar. Applying either
brake lever will illuminate the rcar brake light.
Brakes bould be applied uniformly and evenly to prevent from locking up. A balance between front
and rear braking is generally best.

Do not brake by using the front brake alone. This could cause tbe motorcycle to tip forward unseating
the rider, and causing lo s of control of' the motorcycle, which could result in death or seriou injury.

Do not apply the brakes strongly enough to lock tbc wheels. This may cause loss of control of the
motorcycle and could result in death or serious injury.
NOTE: This product ha a power-cut-off-while-braking system. Return the throttle back to normai
position to avoid the motorcycle mo, • i ng forward suddenly wben you release tbe brake.
Points to remember while riding your scooter.
I. Always sound your horn and use your turn signals when passing other v e h i cles going in the same
direction and never try to Jlass at intersections, round curves or when going up or do, n hill.

2. Your electric motorcycle is a quiet machine, unlike normai motorcycles. Frequently use the horn to
warn otber vehicles and pedestrian of your presence.
3. Always use your signals when preparing to pass or stop.
4. Obey all traffic signs and signals. Be particularly careful wben tbere are school or railroad crossing
signs.
5. Wben turniog watch for pedestrians and ani mais a well as otber traffic.
6. Obey traffic lights. Don 't anticipate the light cbanging.
7. Do not leave the curb or parking area without ignaling and checking that your way i clear of moving
traffic.
8. Be sure your license p l a t e ( s ) are correctly installed and visible, where applicable.
9. Ride at a safe speed that is consi tcnt with the type of road your are driving on. Watch for debri such
as leave or loose g r ave l which can cause wheel slip.
10. Adjust your driving to wcather and trame condition , Incrca e braking di tance in wet, icy, oil road
conditions or when it is snowing.
