FUNCTIONING
WARNING:
Change ratio only when pedalling and
not when the vehicle has stopped.
FRONT BRAKE LEVER/REAR
BRAKE LEVER
•
The front brake (D) and rear brake
(E) can be utilised independently.
To stop quickly, exercise the same
pressure on both brake levers.
Adjust the force applied so as not
to lock the wheels.
WARNING:
This model is equipped with a disc brake
on the front wheel and a disc brake on
the rear wheel that both stop the vehi-
cle in a short distance. In tight curves,
sandy or oily surfaces, wet or icy tarmac,
the pressure on the front brake must be
applied with CAUTION to stop the front
wheel from skidding.
ATTENTION:
Please slow down cautiously. Locking
the wheels by abrupt braking slows the
braking down but can cause skids and
falls. Do not brake in a curve; brake in a
straight line. Braking in a curve increa-
ses the risk of skidding.

by).
