BATTERY
Before using the battery pack, please read carefully and understand all instructions and cautionary
markings on the battery pack, battery charger and product using battery.
Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The battery
pack may explode.
Do not carry battery packs in bags, pockets, tool boxes, drawers etc. together with loose metal objects.
Battery pack terminals could be short circuited causing damage to the battery pack, severe burns or fire.
This product contains a maintenance-free, non-spillable, sealed lead-acid battery which must be recycled
or disposed of properly. Contact your local refuse management authority for disposal locations in your
area.
The battery may not be fully charged when you unpack the product for the first time.
Attach the jump
starter to either the AC adapter supplied together with the jump starter or a
KEMAX
battery charger with the
appropriate connection plug for 48 hours before use until the charging state indicator shows full. The
internal electronics will protect the jump starter from overcharging when attached to the AC charger or a
KEMAX
battery charger.
Charge the jump starter battery pack at temperatures b10°C and +40°C.
Store the jump starter in a place that will not 50°C.
CHARGING THE BATTERY FOR THE FIRST TIME
When you unpack the jump starter for the first time, the battery may not be fully charged. Attach the jump
starter to either the AC adapter supplied together with the jump starter or a
KEMAX
battery charger with the
appropriate connection plug for approximately 48 hours before use. The green LED charge indicator will
light up when the battery is fully charged. To check the charge level, press the red voltage test button (4).
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery can be recharged using either AC or DC current. Cables are provided for both sources of
power. For faster and more effective charging, choose any
KEMAX
battery charger with the two-pin
charging plug.
