3-2 AC Current Measurement 

 
1. Set the AC/DC switch to the AC

 position. 

2. Set the function switch to the desired range, if unsure select 600A range. 
3. Press the trigger to open the current transformer jaws and clamp around one conductor only, making sure that the jaw is  
    firmly closed around the conductor, then take the reading from the digital display. 

 

3-3 DC Current Measurement 

 
1. Set the AC/DC switch to the DC

 position. 

2. Set the function switch to the desired range, if unsure select the 600A range. 
3. Adjust the "DCA Zero Adj. Knob" until the display shows "0". 
4. For  DC measurement, the reading is a positive value when the current flows from the lower side to the upper side of the  
     instrument as Fig. 2. 
5. Press the trigger to open the transformer jaws and clamp one conductor only, making sure that the jaw is firmly closed  
    around the conductor, then take the reading from the digital display.
